There has been a change in the direction of traffic flow on Halsted between 12 Mile and 13 Mile. Traffic is now flowing southbound only on Halsted in this stretch.
If you are approaching from 13 Mile, you will now drive on the newly paved southbound side to access the church driveway. Please see the attached map with arrows if you need a visual.

The Ward Festival of India is a vibrant celebration of Indian culture. Join us for a day filled with variety of games, crafts, performances, and culinary delights that showcase the rich heritage of India. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in music and tastes of India right here in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Special Chief Guest
Farmington Hills Mayor Theresa Rich is a mother, advocate, educator, entrepreneur, and community leader who has dedicated her life to service above self.
Following a thirty-year career in the automotive industry, where her roles ranged from tax lawyer to leading international seminars, Theresa has served our community on Farmington Hills City Council, the Oakland Schools Board of Education, and various boards and commissions at the local, state, and national levels. Theresa also serves on the faculty of the Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business and is a proud American Federation of Teachers union member.
Theresa and her husband Brian have lived in Farmington Hills for over 30 years and own a local business, RichLaw, PLLC. They are proud to have raised their two children, former Farmington Public Schools trustee Zachary Rich and Alyson Rich, M.D., in our city.

Fashion Show Guidelines
Rules and Regulations
Please find below the rules and regulations for the Fashion Show Competition. Kindly ensure adherence to these guidelines to maintain a smooth and fair event.
Age Divisions & Eligibility

General Categories: Participants are grouped into three divisions

Children: Ages 3 to 12 Years

Teens: Ages 13 to 19 Years
-
Adults: Ages 20 to 65+ Years

Attire & Presentation Guidelines
-
Cultural Appropriateness: Outfits must be modest, respectful, and aligned with Indian cultural or fusion themes.

Design Originality: Costumes, styling, and overall concepts should ideally reflect original creative work.

Footwear & Jewelry: Traditional accessories —such as juttis, mojaris, and statement jewelry-are encouraged. All items must be securely fastened to prevent any runway hazards.
Stage & Performance Rules

Time Limit: Each participant receives 2 minutes total, including entry, ramp walk, and exit.

Choreography: Performances emphasize clean ramp walking and effective garment presentation.

Props: Small, easy-to-manage props are generally allowed.
Judging Criteria
Judges evaluate participants based on the following pillars

Attire & Theme: How well the outfit reflects the event's Indian cultural theme.

Walking Stance & Posture: Poise, grooming, and professional runway etiquette.

Confidence & Attitude: Stage presence, charisma, and overall presentation quality.
